Who is the W Network?
W Network is a compelling and contemporary television network for
Canadian women. W Network was launched as WTN in 1995 and relaunched
as W Network in April, 2002. W Network is a fun and fearless
specialty television network and is committed to bringing women the
best entertainment that television has to offer through our
distinctive program schedule.
Cold Feet
W Network is for women all day,
everyday and we strive to make our 24-hour programming as unique and
diverse as the women who watch W Network. W Network delivers box
office hits from Hollywood, popular drama series, top-notch Canadian
and international documentaries and lighthearted but intelligent
lifestyle information programming that covers topics ranging from
sex to home decorating.
The Division
After extensive research with women across the country the program
schedule has been designed to include the kinds of shows that women
want to watch. The prime time schedule offers four movie nights
(Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday); reality shows with a
difference (elove and Ex-Files); international drama series Cold
Feet, The Division, Strong Medicine and These Arms of Mine; juicy
soaps (Riverdale and Night & Day); and the best of the popular Sue
Johanson's sex show Monday to Saturday leading up to the live Sunday
Night Sex Show.
